Your journey starts with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa, followed by a briefing from your guide before heading to Tsavo West National Park, which is among the largest national parks globally. The railway and the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway divide the vast 21,000 km² park into Tsavo West National Park and Tsavo East National Park.

Tsavo West National Park is famed for striking geographical formations‚ plentiful bird- and animal-life‚ and an eventful history. Wildlife in the park includes the Big Five‚ as well as a number of rare and threatened species. Arrive at your lodge in time for check in and lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive that takes you to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, later on drive to the famous Mzima springs almost synonymous with this park. At Mzima Springs‚ water filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills bursts forth from below a lava ridge into a series of pools so clear that hippos and fish can be seen with ease.

Beyond Mzima Springs, there lies a mountain formed by volcanic lava flow. The locals have named it Shetani, which translates to evil in Swahili. This extensive black lava flow erupted from the ground, creating what is now an 8km expanse of solidified lava, pieces of magma, and winding caves. Leopards are often spotted in this region. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Awaken and indulge in a delightful breakfast amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Tsavo. Afterwards, head to the other twin-Tsavo East, while enjoying some game viewing along the way. This park is conveniently situated near the Kenyan Coast, nestled between Nairobi and Mombasa.

During our game viewing across the rugged plains of Tsavo, we will be on the lookout for the unique and infamous Mane-less Tsavo Lions, whose man-eating reputation from a century ago continues to captivate and thrill. Alongside this, the 300-kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, and Lugard Falls create an adventure that is truly one-of-a-kind in Tsavo East. The terrain is flat and arid even though one of Kenya's largest rivers flows through it, resulting in sparse vegetation, which makes wildlife spotting generally easier.

The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River. Keep an eye out for vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life.

Arrive at your lodge in time for check in and lunch, in the afternoon, depart for game drive in this expansive park. After an exhilarating game drive, return to your lodge for a delectable dinner and comfortable night, surrounded by the captivating wilderness and sounds of the Tsavo.

Wake up and enjoy breakfast surrounded by the pristine natural beauty of the Tsavo. Proceed with an enroute game viewing as you drive towards the exit gate to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Also known as “The Heart of Tsavo”, the sanctuary links the Southern Tsavo West National Park and is an important dispersal area and migrating corridor for wildlife between Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Park, making it a highly valued tourism recreational area of ecological importance.

This park derives its name from the surrounding clusters of hills and is an integral part of the Eastern Arc forests classified as a biodiversity hotspot. Before its establishment, the land was used as a game hunting ground. The topography is generally mountainous that offers breathe taking landscape views of the Kilimanjaro, Pare, Uluguru mountains and the clusters of Taita Hills with a seasonal river dividing the sanctuary into valleys and lowland plains.

Get to your lodge in time for check-in and lunch, then head out for an afternoon of game viewing to look for the popular residents. Taita Hills Sanctuary is quite remote, allowing for the growth of unique life forms that especially draw in birdwatchers. More than 350 bird species, both resident and migratory, have been recorded in the sanctuary. Three endemic bird species can also be viewed at the nearby Taita hills like the Taita thrush, Taita Apalis and Taita white eye.

Later on, drive back to your lodge for delectable dinner, as the African night comes alive, set out on a late-night safari to see nocturnal animals like the hyenas, leopards, genet, bush babies and nightjars. Thereafter, drive back to the lodge for a comfortable overnight.

Wake up to the beautiful sounds of nature and enjoy your breakfast, then head over to Amboseli National Park. Nestled at the foot of Africa's most iconic landmark, Mount Kilimanjaro, which stands tall at 19,341 feet, making it the highest freestanding mountain on the planet. On a clear day, view the snow-capped peak while you marvel at the wildlife and scenery.

Amboseli National Park is famous for its massive elephant herds, and among them are the "tuskers" - the big, older bulls with their impressive tusks. Other variety of wildlife‚ and a number of rare species including wild dogs‚ lesser kudu and nocturnal porcupine. The 600 species of birdlife recorded here include waterfowls such as pelicans‚ kingfishers‚ crakes‚ hammerkops and Egyptian geese.

Arrive at the lodge, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon have unlimited game drives in the park till 6pm. After an action-packed day in the bush, your guide drops you back at your accommodation inside the national park in time for a gourmet dinner and comfortable overnight.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha National Park

Enjoy a delightful breakfast before starting your safari to Lake Naivasha via Nairobi, a freshwater lake located in the Great Rift Valley. Notable sights along The Great Rift Valley feature stunning escarpments, lakes, dormant volcanoes, and geysers.

The lake is home to a variety of wildlife including a large population of hippos and several species of fish. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded here.

Arrive in time for lunch, rest of the day at leisure. The lodge we reserve by the lake has stunning natural areas where you can observe a variety of bird species in the trees, along with animals like waterbuck, warthogs, zebras, and giraffes. You can chill by the sun-warmed pool while taking in the gorgeous views of the lake shores or opt for activities in the afternoon. Later on, dinner will be served at the lodge.

Optional activities in Lake Naivasha

• Boat ride to the Crescent Island Game Sanctuary which allows you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos and birdlife, as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes. The Island has a number of animals but no predators‚ and makes a lovely place to walk and picnic.
• Guided cycling in Hell’s Gate National Park - enjoy walking and a cycling safari here, getting up close and personal with the animals such as Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalos and Antelopes, and breathing in all that amazing scenery. Due to the lack of major predators such as lions and leopards, Hells Gate is safe for you to access without a vehicle and this makes it very unique.

Traverse the park's diverse terrain from expansive savannahs to picturesque riverbanks, you will be treated to stunning views and numerous opportunities for photography. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the heart of African wilderness allowing you to truly connect with the serene environment.

Keep an eye out for the elusive black rhino, and be awestruck by the abundance of hippos and massive Nile crocodiles in the Mara River. Consider a guided walk with a ranger - optional tip recommended, along the river for an even closer look at the popular residents. Return to your camp carrying memories of this unforgettable day in the Masai Mara.

As the day wraps up, it’s the perfect moment to relax, enjoy a cocktail, and take in the sunset over the Rift Valley from the amazing view at the Sundowner back at your camp. Treat yourself to a gin and tonic, or a Kenyan Tusker beer along with some tasty snacks as you soak in the sights and sounds of a Maasai warrior show featuring traditional singing, dancing, and jumping - or feel free to join in.
